Classic Wood Floors North, Inc., is a family-owned business headquartered in Hackensack, Minnesota. Company officers Gary, Gabe and Tiffany Hoopman oversee a crew of full time installers and sanders.
Gary Hoopman has been in construction his whole life, previously having built log homes for 15 years, in each of which he installed wood flooring. In the process, Gary developed many contacts in the lumber and wood flooring industry all across the United States. And so, in 1985, Classic Wood Floors was born with a goal to start small and keep customers happy at all costs.
As a result, the business and its reputation began to grow.
Son Gabe joined Classic Wood Floors in 1997 as an installer. After many years of installing and learning the business, Gabe apprenticed under a wood flooring sander and finisher who agreed to teach him his trade. Gabe has also attended classes offered by the National Wood Flooring Association, earning a degree in expert installation, sanding and finishing.
Gabe's wife, Tiffany, joined the business in 2004 as bookkeeper and office manager, taking the business to the next level by incorporating and reorganizing the business side of the now Classic Wood Floors North Inc.
As the company continues to expand -- adding new contacts, bringing new ideas and technologies to the business and, in the process, becoming one of the top selling wood flooring companies in Minnesota -- we still maintain the foundation of our business: keeping the customer happy.
